Just add water
Raw meats contain between 65 to 75% water. At BDN we take most of that water out of the food during drying.
Water is important for the functioning of the dog’s system, mainly the organs. Although BDN can be fed dry, we highly recommend rehydrating your BDN products.
Dogs are not the best of drinkers and adding water to the food let them intake the needed water in a most natural way.
Typically, 1 lbs of wholesome air dried and fermented BDN has the nutritional value of 4 lb of fresh.
handling instructions
Put the needed amount of BDN in the bowl and top off with rather hot tap water. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes. Stir well before serving.
Refrigerate promptly or discard any unused, leftover wet BDN. Refrigerators should be set at 40º F.
Wash hands, food surfaces and utensils thoroughly after handling the product.
Dry products should be stored in a cool, dry place.
If possible, under 80º F and in its original bag inside a clean, dedicated plastic container with lid, keeping the top of the bag folded closed.
